Delete Your CitizenshipAI Account
You can delete your CitizenshipAI account from the mobile app, or request deletion by email if you cannot access the app.
This page explains how to delete a CitizenshipAI account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. CitizenshipAI is an independent educational app and does not process citizenship applications or store passport, identity document, biometric, or government application data.
Method 1
Delete your account in the CitizenshipAI app
Signed-in users can delete their account from the Account screen.
- Sign in to CitizenshipAI.
- From Home, tap the Account icon.
- Open Account.
- Under the account area, choose Delete Account.
- Review the deletion confirmation.
- Tap Delete Account to confirm.
Method 2
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing CitizenshipAI Support.
Include the email address associated with your CitizenshipAI account so the account can be identified. Use this subject line:
Account Deletion Request
Email: citizenshipai.support@gmail.com
The website does not automatically delete accounts. Email requests are handled by CitizenshipAI Support.
What is deleted
When in-app account deletion succeeds, the CitizenshipAI account and associated account data are deleted, including:
- Account credentials and authentication account
- Profile information
- Learning progress
- Vocabulary progress
- Learning history
- Practice and exam history
- Applicable CitizenshipAI subscription status stored by the app
Subscriptions and store billing
Deleting a CitizenshipAI account is separate from cancelling a subscription. Account deletion does not itself cancel or erase purchase or subscription records maintained by Apple, Google Play, or RevenueCat.
- Cancel an active Apple subscription through Apple subscription settings.
- Cancel an active Google Play subscription through Google Play subscription settings.
- Account deletion does not itself stop store billing.
Apple, Google, and RevenueCat billing records are not deleted as part of CitizenshipAI account deletion.
Other records
Certain technical, security, billing, or legally required records may be retained where necessary or where maintained by third-party service providers. Retention periods depend on the applicable service, legal requirements, and operational policies.
